When Alexia came up with the idea for this post, I only wanted to include the books which had left a mark on me, had actually helped in my development as a reader, and as a person. After a lot of thought, and going through my 'Read' list on Goodreads, I have come up with a list of books/series which I think deserve to be here.

This series rekindled the joy of reading in a young kid, who had lost that magic. This surely means that the Harry Potter series has to be on my list. I loved each and every character in the book, even Draco Malfoy. I literally grew up with these characters, and I loved being part of their life story.
