Q: Summer Reading. What was your favourite book that you were REQUIRED to read when you were at school?

We read the book and then watched the movie - this is a novel that will always stay with me.

Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone by J.K. Rowling
My school never required us to read books, but I read the first Harry Potter book in my spare time.

  3. To Kill a Mockingbird is a given, I think, lol. I read HP's stuff all throughout middle school because I wanted to too, not because it was required :0)

  8. I never had to read To Kill a Mockingbird in high school, but I have read it, and I love it. It's such a thoughtful, well-written book and would have made for some great discussion in our class. :)
