Q: If you could "unread" a book, which one would it be? Is it because you want to start over and experience it again for the first time? Or because it was THAT bad?
Symphony of Blood, A Hank Mondale Supernatural Caseby Adam Pepper.
THE worst book I have ever read - it took me about 2 weeks to get through this one and I was tempted to just put it down and not read further, but being me... I have to finish a book to find out what happens in the end.
Wow, that's discipline to continue reading even when you really cannot stand it. Thx for the visit.
ReplyDeletehaha it is... but I'd say it's more curiosity :) I NEED to know what happens lol
DeleteThe cover is even scary, not sure I would want to try it.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the follow, following back
OH and you should get Acheron, all her books can be read stand a lone (don't let the size of this series intimidate you.
I LOVE series that have many books :) I put it on my TBR list after I saw your answer :)
DeleteWHAT IS THIS COVER. HOLY CRAP.
ReplyDeleteI don't know how you were able to finish. The cover alone makes me uncomfortable.
New follower :)
Thanks for stopping by Emily... yeah, the cover put me off, but I figured the story might be good - boy was I mistaken lol

ReplyDeleteHere's my Friday Follow .
I didn't know this one and now I'm sure I'll never know it lol.
ReplyDeleteI'm a new follower.
This is not a book I'd recommend to anyone - not even my enemy lol!
DeleteThanks for stopping by :)
I've never heard of it, and now I'm glad I haven't! I used to push through a book until the end, but recently I've decided life is too short to read something I just don't like. Of course, there are always those books that are like a train wreck, but I still can't put it down. Anyway, thanks for stopping by my blog, I am now following via GFC.
ReplyDeleteI agree, life is too short to read something you don't like, but I REALLY can't put a book down because I'm afraid I miss something good lol It's so stupid! Thanks for stopping by Amie
DeleteI envy your patience and discipline. That book wouldn't even be on my TBR list. Thanks for stopping by my blog! New follower via GFC!
ReplyDeleteI took part in a review challenge of sorts, and this book was one of the books to choose from - wow! What a train wreck! I wouldn't call it discipline exactly, it's more like curiosity, having to know what happens even though I don't enjoy the book :)
DeleteI understand the feeling of needing to finish a book once you've started. way to truck on through to the end, alexia :)
ReplyDeletethanks for stopping by! returning your follow!
LOL thanks Aspen :)
DeleteThis cover is so eerie love it sound like a great read thanks for following I'm following back GFC
ReplyDeleteAngels & Demons - loved the setting, liked the story, tolerated the wooden characters, but that godawful ending ... give me back those wasted hours so I can waste them on something worthwhile
ReplyDeletehahaha nicely put :) Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteThe cover is so scary!

Me too! That's why I'm very cautious now! Thanks for stopping by :)
DeleteThe cover looks too disturbing for me to ever read the book. I hate it when I end up with a book I don't like, because then I have to force myself to finish, because, like you, I have to finish reading the book.
